Wasihun Edossa (BSc, MBA, MPH)

Public Health Professional


Wasihun Edossa Toli is public health professional at Addis continental Institute of Public health (ACIPH). He has been serving in health sector since 2006 GC. He started his career at district hospital and also served at zonal health department. Later, he joined Oromia Regional Health Bureau as Malaria and Neglected Tropical diseases (NTDs) officer and team leader where he participated in operational and strategic planning, Implementation of Interventions, Program Monitoring and Evaluation at regional and National level. He has attended short Trainings on NTDs program Management, disease mapping, treatment Impact Surveys, Community Ophthalmology, Malaria, HIV, TB and STI. Wasihun also served as Onchocerciasis and Lymphatic Filariasis Elimination program officer at The Carter center Ethiopia where he was recognized for his significant contribution in fighting River blindness. He is interested in Communicable diseases and health system research. He is Life Member of Ethiopian public health Association (EPHA). He Joined Addis Continental Institute of Public Health in 2017 as Research Associate. Currently, he is Malaria Surveillance officer for USAID (SMMES) Project and Lecturer.
