By the end of the course, participants will have gained a better understanding of the importance of high-quality data, how to manage data efficiently, and how data analysis can be approached. This course will also cover methods of translating research into action. There will be an overview of Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI), common childhood infectious diseases, survey methodology, assessment of health status, assessment of data quality, measurement of socioeconomic disparities, and statistical techniques relevant to health services.
