About Course
This course is designed for participants in academic institutions and/or graduate students. It aims to support participants write up public health research clearly and concisely as critical arguments using the Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion (IMRAD) format; communicate findings clearly, concisely, and precisely; revise and edit public health texts; write ethically, cite references correctly, and avoid all forms of plagiarism; use scientific writing conventions appropriately (e.g., active/passive voice, verb tenses); strategically choose journals for manuscript submission; and understand the entire publishing cycle, including what journal editors are looking for and how they view manuscripts.
